Launching your Business
Before launching your
business, be sure to first put together your
business plan. Without a plan, you're almost guaranteed to fail... so, if
you want to succeed, you'll have a plan. Keep your plan simple and I recommend
you focus on only one marketing strategy to start.
Begin building an INCOME that brings TRUE FREEDOM to
your life.
MA = MR
(Massive Action equals Massive
Results)
Conversely, SA = SR (small actions equals small results).
Remember this formula as you begin building your business. What your business
eventually becomes will depend upon what you put into it and how fast you do
it.
Massive Action is REQUIRED for you to overcome the INERTIA in your
life. It's important to learn from the Space Shuttle and ask yourself, "What
does the Space Shuttle teach me about overcoming inertia and getting started?"

And to be most successful, you
need a...
S D A
(Single Daily Action)
You don't have to do everything... you just need to do
something. I like what Zig Ziglar says, "You cannot make it as a wandering
generality. You must become a meaningful specific."
There is much to
learn in order to be more successful and you will learn it best if you learn
one thing at a time. I have found it helpful to ask myself at the start of each
day, "What ONE thing can I do today to move my business forward?"
Then I go about doing that one thing.
Above all, you want to
keep the main thing the main thing... and that is sharing this
opportunity with others. DO NOT spend most of your time getting organized. The
ONLY activity that will make you money is talking to prospects.
Schedule the Work
Using a printed daily planner or other planning calendar,
begin to plan out your work schedule. Whether full-time or part-time, it's
important that you plan the work and work the plan. Again, if you don't write
it down - it won't happen. Life's distractions and other "stuff" will get in
your way and excuses will rob you of any chance of success.
Just like
your business budget, how you schedule your work plan will depend on how
aggressively you want to work your business. Whatever the case, your plan must
be realistic given your goals for your business.
- How many hours per day or week are you going to work
the business?
- How many phone calls are you going to make per day or
week?
Schedule specific times to work your business and make your phone
calls.
- Be sure to block out on your calendar time to listen to
some of our weekly training conference calls.
I would suggest you need to plan a "minimum of at least" 8
to 12 hours per week if you expect to have any kind of results in your
business. Certainly, you can be more aggressive and invest more time - but if
you think you can do it with an occassional hour or two when you get around to
it... well, you're just fooling yourself. That will NEVER work. DO NOT attempt
to start a business with that approach.
Become a person of mass
production because you'll get so much more performance from your time and your
money that you'll achieve as much in one year as most people will get done in
four or five years.
As Kelly Reese writes in
The Art of Achieving
Financial Freedom, "If you only improved your use of time enough to
increase the value of just one hour each day by a mere $10, at 8% interest that
would be worth over a million extra dollars to you in forty years
on top
of everything else you would own. Now what if we were able to make that one
hour a day worth $50, instead of just an extra $10? What if instead of only
improving the economic value of one hour a day we increased the value of
several hours each day? This is not rocket science. It is basic mathematics. It
is a fact that even modest improvements in your time management can really
speed up your journey to financial freedom."
