Let's say you purchase 100 leads a month to assist in building
your home business and out of these 100 leads, you end up having 25 "players".
PLAYERS are prospects who are capable of making a business decision TODAY, this
WEEK and or this MONTH.
Are the other 75 leads "dead leads"?
NO!
Remember that every batch of leads will have some people with
TIMING issues. Can we control this? Absolutely NOT!
Timing is everything, so be patient with them.
Every batch of leads will have some people with MONEY issues.
This is real for many people because we all have TWO types of spending habits:
- Short TERM, which is having dinner or shopping, etc. They are
all tangible and satisfy the microwave oven mentality.
- Long TERM, which is like investing money or building a
successful business. Many people don't see the returns.
When it comes to money and helping a prospect to decide, one
suggestion I have is to create a sense of "NOT having this will cost more!"
And every batch of leads will have some people with BELIEF issues.
This is BIG. If you have someone who falls in love with your company,
products and compensation plans - you have something.
BUT, if THEY DON'T believe they will succeed, you have
absolutely nothing!
With that said, let us VIEW the other 75 leads as part of
INTELLECTUAL property. A bank of VALUABLE leads that "grows" each month!
The fact of the matter is that many of your leads are like planting
seeds. You must give the majority of them TIME to grow.
Imagine the
VALUE of your LEAD bank six months from today. Especially since technology lets
you email the BANK once a month.
Imagine the POWER of a few coming out
of this powerful waiting room added to the current activities you conduct
everyday.
This is why working leads consistently and persistently will
PAY off in many ways!
