you finish." -- Zig Ziglar
A Basic Blog
Marketing Strategy This is the first
of several articles I will post regarding marketing your business with
Blogs. I will cover only a BASIC strategy here and provide more advanced
strategies in other articles.
- Create a FREE Blog for your FFSI business at one of the
following services:
- Get a FREE My
Yahoo page and place the RSS feed to your Blog on that page.
[Click on
Add Content... then Add RSS by URL.] If using Blogger, you'll
get your Site Feed URL by clicking on Settings from your Blogger
Dashboard... then, click on Site Feed. Doing this will cause the Yahoo
search engine to visit your site and you'll quickly be added to their search
engine. I've had my pages indexed in 24 to 48 hours and in a few cases in as
little as 3 hours.
- Also open a MSN Spaces
account and add your RSS feed to that page. From
my.msn.com/, click on Add Content...
then enter your Site Feed URL into the Search For Content box... and
click OK. This will cause the MSN search engine to visit your site and
be quickly added to that search engine.
- Make a blog post at least every day or less.
to see why.
What are you going to write about? Well, that's entirely up
to you. I would suggest perhaps you write about who you are and why you believe
FFSI is a good home business. You might share some personal experiences you've
had using our services or something you've learned from Kelly. Be sure to
include the URL to one of your FFSI web sites in each of your posts. If you
don't think you can write enough content on a daily basis, there are many free
articles out there you can use. Here are some places to get you started:
- Ping your blog after every post at
Ping-O-Matic.
- Place a link and description to your blog on all your
websites and out going emails.
- Place the feed from your blog on the following website and
the directories listed on this page:

- Download this free
RSS Marketing ebook by top
RSS expert, Rok Hrastnik.
